A better way with Oway

Started my morning with a little headache from last night's red. Even one innocent glass of Marina Cvetic Montepulciano makes my attic feel like 50kg. Water and tea for the rest of 2016 it is then. Thinking of giving up coffee too. Maybe this 5th time I will succeed. A girl can dream.

Today I want to share another beauty-related tip with you. Oway shampoo - not only great because of the inside, but because of the outside too! And this one I have tried already, so I can say whether I recommend it, or not, and why.

A few days ago, I was looking to purchase a new shampoo. I also thought about how it can be more eco-friendly than just being chemical free and organic. The packaging is a great part of the product, and thus it should also be taken into consideration. There's a hair salon in the mall we regularly go to, in Lonato Del Garda, that works with natural products. One of them is Oway. And I remembered how I once got a blowout there and how much I loved the pure smell of the shampoo. And, and (!), the shampoos come in a glass jar. So there I was, pointing at the one that I wanted to take home with me. I was pretty happy with my choice at that point. But then something happened. Something they said made me even happier with my choice.

This is how Oway shampoo system works: you buy the first bottle of shampoo, and then when it's finished, you come back with that bottle and they refill it! And of course, you pay less than the first time, because you bring your own bottle now. How is that not a winning combo!? Organic, cruelty-free, and zero waste oriented. I recommend it 100%.

I believe this is also a great inspiration for future businesses on how you can collaborate with the partners in your supply chain in order to lower your negative impact on the eco-system. There's only so much you can do by yourself. By engaging with people/partners around you, you can leverage so much more out of a collaboration.
